The publicist for record producer Polow Da Don — who has produced songs for Chris Brown and Rihanna in the past — lied about the so-called duet they were supposedly recording last weekend. E! Online first reported that Brown and Rihanna were in a Santa Monica studio earlier this month recording a duet with producer Polow Da Don. Three people from TMZ then contacted Polow Da Don’s publicist, who not only said the E! story was true but gave us details — that Chris and Rihanna were engaged in “playful touching” and the session was packed with “emotion.” (Read more)

According to TMZ.com, Revlon has secretly hired a huge polling company Harris Interactive, to find out if Rihanna is hurting its competitor, Covergirl. The survey is commissioned by Revlon and features a Covergirl commercial for mascara. It then questions people if they are aware of the person in the commercial (without saying Rihanna’s name), if they’ve heard about her in the news lately, if they have an opinion about the person and if they feel the person is “an appropriate spokesperson” for the product. TMZ confirmed with Harris Interactive that the poll is a “proprietary study by Revlon” translation: no one was supposed to know Revlon was doing recon on Covergirl.

According to TMZ, the whole thing came together when they decided to reconcile shortly after the attack. Sources tell us music producer Polow Da Don convinced both Chris and Rihanna to get in the studio and record a love song stat, stressing that timing was important because the heightened emotions would translate powerfully into the music. Chris Brown,19, and manager Tina Davis, 39. Davis allegedly sent a text message to Chris that triggered his brawl with Rihanna. A police affidavit says only that the text came from “a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.” An source described the message as a “booty call.” (Read more)

Snoop Dogg has invited Chris Brown and Rihanna onto his new MTV show to talk about their relationship with the aid of TV advice guru Dr. Phil McGraw. The rapper was promoting his new variety programme Dogg After Dark in LA and offered the couple the chance to talk about their problems on air.

His invitation comes as Brown is facing two felony charges in connection to an alleged attack on Rihanna on February 8. “I would definitely have them on the show,” Snoop said. “I would have to have Dr. Phil on the show because that’s not my section or department, but I’m sure Dr. Phil would have some advice….If he wasn’t available I would get Dr. Dre to come on the show for them.” Source: DigitalSpy.com

Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra tells Usmagazine.com that the 21-year-old singer could wind up testifying in the felony assault case against her boyfriend Chris Brown. “She is planning to do everything that the law requires her to do,” Etra tells Us. “If she is required to testify, she will do so.” (Read more)

People.com is reporting that 21-year-old Rihanna and woman beater Chris Brown are back together! There source is claiming that “They’re together again. They care for each other.” Suposedly the two are spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s house. The source went on to say: “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

Rihanna was spotted soaking up the sun in Mexico a day after her 21st birthday. The singer and some of her close friends went to a private beachside villa in Punta Mita. Daily News obtained some exclusive photos of the Rihanna, were there were no visible marks that she previously had on her face. In the photos Rihanna is not smiling or showing any emotion like she usually does when she has been previously photographed in the beach when she was with her friends or ex-boyfriend Chris.

In Touch Weekly is reporting that the Los Angeles District Attorny has yet to file charges against Chris Brown. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles DA’s office confirmed the lack of charges, saying, “We do not have enough evidence and there have been no charges filed on the Chris Brown case.” The spokesperson went on to say: “if the state gathers up enough evidence, we will press charges with or without her testifying.
