First of I would like to apologize for those of you that still visit this site in hopes of new updates and have been supporting the site trough its ups and downs. As you can see the site has a brand new layout (that I really hope you guys like) and with this new layout I’m in look for co-webmasters.

Maintaining this site has been extremely difficult and I don’t have as much time as before to post every update regarding Rihanna’s whereabouts and for that I’m asking for your help. I’m looking for someone who is a huge Rihanna fan that loves and appreciates her music and has plenty of free time to help update this site. Rihanna to Release Book in June

According to the online store Amazon.com, Rihanna will be releasing a book titled The Last Girl on Earth. The book was written by Rihanna with contributions by Simon Henwood. The 144 page book will hit store shelves on June 29, 2010 and is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com

Rated R’s first single pick, “Russian Roulette” launched at 11:23am EDT today worldwide on http://rihannanow.com. The “Russian Roulette” video, directed by Anthony Mandler, will premiere in prime-time on ABC.

“Russian Roulette” was written by fellow Def Jam artist Ne-Yo, whose long track record with Rihanna includes the #1 hit “Unfaithful” (2006, from A Girl Like Me), their Top 10 duet “Hate That I Love You” (2007, from Good Girl Gone Bad), and #1 pop/ #1 R&B “Take A Bow” (2008, from Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded). In addition to Ne-Yo, other producers and writers on Rihanna’s new album include the team of The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, Chase & Status, Stargate, Justin Timberlake and more.

Rated R is the long-awaited follow-up to Good Girl Gone Bad (May 2007), which contained the non-stop string of hit singles that began with the MTV VMA and Grammy Award-winning global #1 hit “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), then “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You” (featuring Ne-Yo), and “Don’t Stop the Music.” Good Girl Gone Bad spent 98 total weeks on the Soundscan chart, earned cumulative sales of more than 36-times platinum in at least 20 territories around the world, and spun off the CD+DVD package Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded (January 2009) – which continued the string of hits with the #1 “Take A Bow,” and the #1 “Disturbia.”

Good Girl Gone Bad was the third album release in less than two years by the 21-year old Barbados native Rihanna. Sean Garrett is the quiet current forcefully washing out any producer who dares step in the booth without that certified hit maker’s touch. He’s produced Usher’s ‘Yeah,’ along with practically every Beyonce joint you shimmy to in the club. LiveSteez recently caught up with the music maven to see which superstars he’s currently working with, and to get the real deal on Sean Garrett, the solo artist.

LiveSteez: The roster of artists that you’ve worked with is insane. You’re working with Rihanna and Usher now, right?

Sean Garrett: Yep, I’m working on Usher’s new album. ‘Monster’ speaks to a lot of things. There’s a lot to that word. Good and bad. I’m really happy to be a part of that album because it’s going to be really great. I’m also working on Rihanna’s new album and I’m doing something really different with that venture.

LiveSteez: On the solo tip…what’s going on? What’s the deal with your album?

Sean Garrett: ‘Break up’ is a representation of where my album’s going to go. I received a lot of love from the record, ‘Grippin on the Bed,’ and my situation wasn’t really right with my partner.

LiveSteez: What do you mean?

Sean Garrett: I’m such a multi-talented guy who yearns to be great in a lot of different areas. Sometimes, people don’t want to allow you the chance to do that. They don’t make it easy for you. The fans are what have really helped me become who I am.

LiveSteez: Yeah, a “Jack-of-all-trades” is always a target for hating, but I’m sure you have some good industry friends that keep you sane.

Sean Garrett: I have some real good friends and artists that have enabled me to be very creative like Beyonce, Chris Brown and Mario. I definitely have some friends in this industry that have given me the chance to change music. We’re just gonna keep at it! I just want to be an incredible artist and defy the odds.
