First of I would like to apologize for those of you that still visit this site in hopes of new updates and have been supporting the site trough its ups and downs. As you can see the site has a brand new layout (that I really hope you guys like) and with this new layout I’m in look for co-webmasters.

Maintaining this site has been extremely difficult and I don’t have as much time as before to post every update regarding Rihanna’s whereabouts and for that I’m asking for your help. I’m looking for someone who is a huge Rihanna fan that loves and appreciates her music and has plenty of free time to help update this site. If you are interested and have web experience please send us an email or leave us a comment.

To some (or most) of you this is probably the second layout you have seen on here, but, this is actually the 10th layout since I first opened the site back in 2005. Well I hope you guys like the new LIVE GREEN layout, took me for ever to finish it up, I was actually going to use this layout (or the idea) back when we were RihannaWeb. Welcome back to Rihanna Web NowRihanna.com, seriously how many times have I said that before? Hopefully this time its for good, I have been working really hard to bring the site back. I know I still have alot of things to update and add on here, but please be patient as its a very tedious process, for now keep checking back for the recent news and updates. I agree with those people who have expressed concern about the way our superstar Rihanna dresses. It is amazing to me how on the call-in programme people criticise the images that are portrayed of black women and criticise Bajan girls for their poor dress code, but when anyone says the same thing about Rihanna, some callers and moderators want to label people as being jealous or wanting to tear down the girl.

I call that hypocrisy of the highest degree. I for one don’t grudge Rihanna. I am proud of her and hope she keeps growing in the music world from strength to strength. That being the case, I think it is my right to give her constructive criticism and hope she takes it in the spirit that it is given. -NationNews.com

Rihanna has brought her short hair back and showed it off at this years Z100’s Jingle Ball were she performed “Unfaithful,” “Pon De Replay,” “SOS” and “Break It Off”. Rihanna is to be commended on her success this past year and especially following her recent wins at the Billboard Music Awards. Many Barbadians may have been hearing about the venerable Billboard Charts for years and determined, correctly, that to have a hit album or single on those charts was a big deal, since Billboard Magazine is the United States’ music industry’s premier publication for tracking the performance of albums and singles across all genres.

Success on its charts is taken as a true reflection of how the industry’s product is doing on the market. Rihanna’s win in the Female Artist Of The Year category is significant not because of her being “the best” female artiste, but it means that her album and singles performances on the Billboard Top 200 (album) and on the Hot 100 (singles) chart combined meant she was the most popular female artiste.

From the Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York, stunning pop star Rihanna will lead the festivities and perform, along with fellow music sensations Ludacris and KT Tunstall, as they join the all-star roster of talent already announced for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007, airing Sunday, December 31 on the ABC Television Network. This will mark the first time the annual special has expanded its party coverage to New York, in addition to Hollywood. With these added artists, the special will feature a record-setting 19 performances scheduled from New York and Hollywood.

Rihanna has been asked to make an appearance at the reopening of Kensington Oval on February 17. In what is being billed as “a world-class event, by Bajans for Bajans”, the 18-year-old platinum-selling singer, who last week won three major Billboard Music Awards, will be the star attraction if she accepts the invitation.

Yesterday, the Midweek Nation tried to find out if the date would fit into Rihanna’s schedule but few details were forthcoming. The event will be open to 27 000 spectators, as various areas of event management, security and park-and-ride will be tested. “The aim is to ensure we have an event at world-class level,” a source close to the organisers said. “Rihanna has been asked and she has expressed great interest and excitement. We are hoping it fits in.”
