Rihanna was spotted soaking up the sun in Mexico a day after her 21st birthday. The singer and some of her close friends went to a private beachside villa in Punta Mita. Daily News obtained some exclusive photos of the Rihanna, were there were no visible marks that she previously had on her face. In the photos Rihanna is not smiling or showing any emotion like she usually does when she has been previously photographed in the beach when she was with her friends or ex-boyfriend Chris.

In Touch Weekly is reporting that the Los Angeles District Attorny has yet to file charges against Chris Brown. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles DA’s office confirmed the lack of charges, saying, “We do not have enough evidence and there have been no charges filed on the Chris Brown case.” The spokesperson went on to say: “if the state gathers up enough evidence, we will press charges with or without her testifying. After two intense weeks, Rihanna’s team has released a statement to Radar Online from a spokesperson, about the altercation she had with Christopher Brown in Los Angeles. This is what they had to say:

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

The sales for Rihanna’s 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad, have gone up by 33 percent, selling an additional 25,000 copies, coming in at No. 31. And as expected, Chris Brown didn’t even crack the Top 200.
